Alexa von Tobel is the Founder and CEO of LearnVest.com, the leading personal finance and lifestyle website for women, whose mission is to make trusted personal financial information accessible to millions across the country. She received a BA in Psychology at Harvard College, and upon graduation, worked as a trader at Morgan Stanley before enrolling in Harvard Business School. Shortly after, she took a leave of absence to launch LearnVest and begin fundraising. Since starting the company in 2009, Alexa has been featured in Vanity Fair’s “2011 Next Establishment" list, Business Insider’s 2010 and 2011 “Silicon Alley 100” lists, and named “One of the Coolest Young Entrepreneurs” in Inc Magazine’s “30 Under 30” feature, amongst many others.
