"All I Want for Christmas" Carpool Karaoke With Mariah Carey Is the Best "Carpool Karaoke"

What did we do to deserve James Corden? It's been quite a year, but at last it’s time to start wrapping it up — and "The Late Late Show" host has apparently been working for all of 2016 to make sure his viewers do so in the best way possible.

How? By quietly enlisting a sampling of his "Carpool Karaoke" guests to belt out their best rendition of Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas."

And like every good present, this one comes with a nice bow on top: Carey herself, who took a quick spin with Corden to do some last-minute shopping. This one kicks off in style: Corden's in a festive sweater, and the Elusive Chanteuse is in what appears to be a red leather blazer. Because ’tis the season.

Before long, though, the video cuts to various guests of "Carpool Karaoke" past: Adele, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas, Elton John, Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, Chris Martin, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Gwen Stefani.

Not everyone made it to the party; some notable missing guests include Bruno Mars, whose own "Carpool Karaoke" aired this week, and that car-full of Broadway singers from when Corden hosted the Tonys. Still, as far as presents from strangers go, this is about as good as it gets.
