Allison Williams Isn't the First--Meet 8 Other Women Who Have Ruled Neverland

On December 4, Peter Pan Live! will air on NBC, starring Allison Williams (of Girls fame) as the mischievous Peter. Christopher Walken joins the cast as jaunty villain Captain Hook. In a first look at the show, Williams expresses her excitement: “I am aware every day that I’m the luckiest girl—the luckiest boy/girl in the world.”

She’s not the first woman to play the legendary boy from Neverland. We take a look back at the flying personalities who brought whimsy to the imaginative role, from the first performance at the Duke of York’s Theatre, to Mia Farrow in the mid-70s.
