Angelina Jolie, Kelly Osbourne & More Score New Jobs

Angelina Jolie, Kelly Osbourne & More Score New Jobs

From Angelina Jolie to "Full House" favorite Candace Cameron Bure, it's all about ladies in Hollywood making major moves with their careers lately. Here's the inside scoop:

Angelina Jolie is teaming up with Netflix to direct a new original movie. The actress and "Unbroken" director will helm the adaptation of "First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers," the memoir published by human rights activist Loung Ung.

"I was deeply affected by Loung's book," says Jolie who will also produce the film. "It deepened forever my understanding of how children experience war and are affected by the emotional memory of it. And it helped me draw closer still to the people of Cambodia, my son's [Maddox's] homeland ... It is a dream to be able to adapt this book for the screen, and I'm honored to work alongside Loung and filmmaker Rithy Panh."

Next up, Kelly Osbourne landed a new gig just months after her departure from E!'s "Fashion Police." The purple-haired princess of rock will be teaming up with designer Christian Soriano as a judge for Lifetime's new kids competition show, "Project Runway Junior." The series, hosted by Tim Gunn and supermodel Hannah Davis, will allow teen fashion designers, ages 14 to 17, to show off their talents. Osboune took to Instagram to announce the news Friday posting, "I'm so excited to finally announce that I've joined the incredible 'Project Runway' Junior family!" she said. "We just had the best first day ever!"

Last but not least, it looks like "The View" will get two new co-hosts if reports are true. Candace Cameron Bure and "Good Morning America Weekend" co-anchor Paula Faris are nearing deals to join the ABC talk show alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Raven-Symone and Michelle Collins. After a series of much publicized additions and subtractions on the show, it'll be great to see these two take their seats and infuse new energy (and new opinions, no doubt) to the show.

Congrats to all of these powerhouse women on their new gigs!
