Billie Jean King Talks About the U.S. Open, Women's Empowerment, and More

Legendary tennis champion and MAKER Billie Jean King appeared on AOL's Build series on Wednesday at AOL headquarters in New York.

The interview was moderated by MAKERS' founder and executive producer, Dyllan McGee.

King talked about her prolific career in tennis and Atrial Fibrillation (AFib), as September is AFib Awareness Month.

During her discussion, she spoke candidly about this year's U.S. Open, sports as a platform for women, and women's empowerment.

"Be your authentic self. Don't let anyone define you," said King in the interview.
