Brie Larson Will Get Presidential in Upcoming Victoria Woodhull Biopic

In an upcoming Amazon biopic, award-winning actress Brie Larson is slated to play Victoria Woodhull, the first woman to run for president of the United States in 1872.

While in front of the camera, Larson will also be behind it as a producer, alongside executive producer Anne Woodward and co-producer John-Eric Capps, Deadline Hollywood reported.

Though Woodhull was unable to become president after running for office, she "paved the way for women's suffrage and women's rights for years to come," Variety wrote.
