Burberry's Angela Ahrendts to start at Apple this week
Angela Ahrendts is the Burberry CEO who revitalized the hundred-year old fashion house, nearly tripling revenues, according to Forbes. And now, after announcing her move to Apple months ago as retail chief, Ahrendts will finally be stepping into the new role this week.
According to TechCrunch, Ahrendts is the first retail head since Apple dropped former Dixons CEO John Browett in 2012. Since Apple's luxury retail is comparable to high fashion brands, it makes sense that the now-Burberry alum will be more than up for the job.
So the next time you find yourself in an Apple store, keep an eye out for any changes. We can't wait to see what Ahrendts adds to the already iconic company.
