Ellen DeGeneres Almost Didn't Get Into the White House Because She Forgot Her ID

Ellen DeGeneres Almost Didn't Get Into the White House Because She Forgot Her ID

While the 2016 Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony on Tuesday was a night to remember for all of its honorees, it was definitely a little extra unforgettable for comedian MAKER Ellen DeGeneres.

In what was probably one of the most relatable things any celebrity has done, DeGeneres arrived to the White House only to realize she had forgotten a form of identification.

Thankfully, she was eventually allowed inside, but not without first taking a hilarious picture to update her Twitter followers from a bench outside.

Let's just say letting her in was the White House security's best decision of the night because the guests of honors' Mannequin Challenge was absolutely perfect.

Even fellow MAKER and Medal of Freedom recipient Melinda Gates was glad she made it to the ceremony.
