EMILY's List Is Recruiting You for the Next Electoral Ballot

EMILY's List is an organization that strives to be a driving force of change in America by funding the elections of the pro-choice Democratic women.

Post inauguration, EMILY's List is adopting a new mission: "Getting Ready to Run."

"Don’t just march, run!" their site says.

On January 22, EMILY's List is partnering with the Latino Victory Fund, Gay & Lesbian Victory Institute, The New American Leaders Project, Higher Heights for America, the Asian American Action Fund, and Emerge America, holding a training session for potential first-time candidates to gain insight to a successful campaign.

"If you're marching in D.C., you know the power of activism. Put that power to work taking over the ballot," the site says.

With 30 years of experience, EMILY's List has had over 900 victories "putting women into office who have the power to put progressive change to work," Ellen R. Malcolm, Founder and Chair said.

Protesting the misogyny and xenophobia of his administration, the cause urges that it's time for women to "step up and lead the way."
