Female Graffiti Artists Are Heroines of the Street in This Upcoming Documentary

The upcoming documentary "Street Heroines" will showcase the incredible journeys of female graffiti artists from ten different countries around the world who are blazing through a male-dominated subculture.

"Graffiti has been a guy's game from the beginning," says one graffiti heroine.

Filmmaker Alexandra Henry spent the past three and a half years documenting the stories and struggles of female graffiti artists including "Lady Pink," the first female graffiti artist to paint entire subway cars.

The film is set to release in early 2017. To support "Street Heroines," visit their Kickstarter campaign.
