Hillary Clinton Will Be a Character On One of Your Favorite Dramas This Season
By Megan Angelo
We didn't think the real politician tie-ins in "The Good Wife" could top Eli and Donna Brazile's snippy exchanges.
But the law drama has truly outdone itself now: In season seven, Peter's bid for the Democratic presidential nomination will find him going up against Hillary Clinton in real time. The writers will pen her in like any other opponent character, following the real-life election timeline, even including the actual Iowa Caucus (which takes place in February) as it happens.
So what's the skinny on the Florrick-Clinton matchup? James Carville isn't in today, so we'll take this one. She will crush him on foreign policy — and don't be surprised if there's a family values dig in there, too. But Florrick, for all his wealth and distinguished hair, somehow maintains that half-folksy, half-Kennedy charm that make people adore him — so don't count him out just yet.
There's no word on whether Clinton can actually make a cameo, but we'd love her to meet Alicia. Future attorney general selection, anyone?
