Jill Biden has always figured out how to multitask. She got her master’s and doctorate degrees while both working and raising her children. As Second Lady of the US, she has continued teaching English at community college, making her the first Vice President’s wife to work while her husband is in office. She has first-hand experience with the question she asks in this video: “How do you have it all and handle it all?”
“Our administration is trying to move the workplace into the twenty-first century,” she says. Today, that means more flexible hours for working mothers, easier commutes, and understanding that sometimes mothers will have to take time off when their kids are sick.
