Karlie Kloss Joins Campaign to Get Girls Coding

After walking in the Victoria’s Secret show in London, Karlie Kloss is winging back to the States to help girls learn about code. Like her fellow model and app developer Lyndsey Scott, Kloss is getting into computer programming—coding and learning how to fly drones at the Flatiron School. To encourage other girls to start their journey into STEM fields, she’s participating in’s Hour of Code campaign, which starts on Monday. Anyone can host an hour of code anytime, but the organization’s biggest campaign runs from December 8 to 14 in celebration of Computer Science Education Week.

Throughout the week, classrooms in the U.S. will be given the opportunity to join in live video Q&As with tech stars including enthusiastic student Kloss, Facebook COO (and MAKER!) Sheryl Sandberg, entrepreneur/actor Jessica Alba, and Tumblr founder David Karp.
