MAKERS Interviews Leaders at The White House Summit on Working Families

In past recent weeks, MAKERS has worked with the White House to bring awareness to the top issues discussed at the White House Summit on Working Families, which took place June 23rd. The event featured speeches from the President, the First Lady, the Vice President, and Dr. Jill Biden as well as many other influential leaders as they "participated in a national conversation about how we can create 21st century workplaces that work for all Americans."

MAKERS was on the ground at the summit to interview some of the key attendees and capture their thoughts and share with users.  The video includes commentary by Nancy Pelosi, Dr. Jill Biden, Girl Scouts of America CEO Anna Marie Chavez, and many more business and political thought leaders. They express their concerns and opinions on helping working families succeed and share how they’re going to “make it happen.”

MAKERS looks forward to continuing to partner with the White House on these types of initiatives in our work to be the largest collection of women's stories ever assembled and inspire change and action for women everywhere.
