Attack in Nice is sickening, horrifying & heartbreaking. The world seems to get scarier by the day. Can't stop thinking of the victims.

France is our nation’s oldest ally—our brother in arms for liberty. On the walls of the House of Representatives there are just two paintings, one of George Washington and one of the Marquis de Lafayette, without whom we could not have won the Revolutionary War. Even in the face of terrorism and brutality, we stand together with France and strive for liberté, équalité, fraternité.
