Malala Yousafzai Says #YesAllGirls Should Have Education in Latest Campaign

Malala Yousafzai Says #YesAllGirls Should Have Education in Latest Campaign

Just like many girls going back to school this month, so is someone who has been fighting for education rights for girls across the world for many years.

On her first day of secondary school on Wednesday, Malala Yousafzai was already thinking far beyond her own education. She instead introduced a campaign to support refugee girls' education.

#YesAllGirls invites girls around the world to share photos of themselves in their classes in an effort to show solidarity in the fight for the same freedoms Malala has attending her first day of school.

Malala herself shared a photo with her own class, and has the goal of encouraging 10 million people to participate in the challenge.

"I campaign for every girl to get education," Malala says in her campaign's promotional video that was posted Tuesday. "And when I say every girl it means, #YesAllGirls." Watch the video below.
