MAKER Margaret Cho and rapper and television personality Awkwafina just teamed up in a new music video confronting and re-purposing the stereotypes members of the Asian-American and Pacific Islander community face today.

Though all women of color can relate to the music video, which has an underlying theme of "white-washing,” and suggests the power racial privilege may play in many contexts and situations throughout daily life.

See the video below and watch Cho's MAKERS story above where she shares what it was like searching for the identity of her comedy and why she began integrating stories about her family, specifically her mother, into her act.
