Nike Is Launching an Athletics Hijab for Muslim Women

Not long after sharing its inspiring Equality campaign with the world, Nike is continuing its mission to "bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world" with its upcoming Pro Hijab garment for female Muslim athletes.

According to USA TodayNike made a statement saying the newest performance item is part of "an ongoing cultural shift that has seen more women than ever embracing sport... [which] first permeated international consciousness in 2012, when a hijabi runner [Saudi Arabia's Sarah Attar] took the global stage in London."

Made out of durable mesh, this athletic wear allows everyone to live out their sports dreams without anything holding them back. It's set for release in the spring of 2018.
