Oprah to Give Final Interview With Michelle Obama as First Lady

MAKER Oprah Winfrey will sit down with MAKER Michelle Obama in her final interview at the White House during an hour-long special.

There's been much speculation about what the First Lady will do after the Obamas leave office, but Winfrey plans to hopefully shed some light on what her specific plans entail.

According to TIME, the two are planning to discuss the past eight years of Obama's presidency and Michelle's legacy. Both the President and First Lady have indicated they wish to continue working on initiatives they focused on while in office, including efforts to help expand girls' education.

This isn't the first time the two MAKERS sat down together for a chat. The First Lady and Winfrey spoke this summer during the White House's United State of Women summit, which the MAKERS team attended.

The "First Lady Michelle Obama Says Farewell to the White House — An Oprah Winfrey Special," will air on Dec. 19 at 8pm EST on CBS, and again on Dec. 21 at 9pm EST on Oprah's OWN Network.
