Can You Say Triple Threat? These Two Actresses Are Joining Oprah in Disney Adaptation of "A Wrinkle In Time"
As if Oprah Winfrey and Ava DuVernay teaming up again wasn't enough for the making of the Disney adaptation of "A Wrinkle In Time," add Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling to the lineup and an epic production is guaranteed.
The movie, based on the children's book by Madeleine L'Engle, will be directed by DuVernay and written by "Frozen" writer and co-director Jennifer Lee.
And, in case you're not familiar with the tale, The Hollywood Reporter writes that it "centers on a young girl who finds herself on an interplanetary journey with a schoolmate and her younger brother to locate her missing father, a scientist."
The three are "aided on their quest by a trio of supernatural beings," known as the "Mrs. W's."
The movie is slated to begin production in November since Winfrey has been set to play Mrs. Which for some time, the next big task was to lock down Witherspoon and Kaling for the other two roles: Mrs. Whatsit and Mrs. Who, respectively.
And they did it!
