Oprah Winfrey Launches New Publishing Imprint in 2017

MAKER Oprah Winfrey first announced her publishing print back in 2015, but the debut of her first very own cookbook has finally happened.

"Food, Health, and Happiness" was released on January 3, 2017, under Flatiron Books, a division of Macmillan.

Winfrey shared on her website her inspiration behind her new cookbook:

"I've been wanting to share the recipes I love to make (Weight Watchers points and all) — and the lessons I’ve learned about ending my lifelong struggle with eating. Food Health and Happiness will be released in early January, but don’t worry — I won’t let you show up to Christmas empty-handed! Preorder now, and I'll send a special note and gift in time for the holidays (while supplies last), so you can have something to wrap and give. See you in the kitchen!"

Winfrey's publishing print will also be releasing Maria Smilios's "The Black Angels: The Untold Story of the Nurses Who Helped Cure Tuberculosis" in 2018.
