Remember My Name: Mo'ne Davis to Release Memoir

Mo'ne Davis, the 13-year-old pitching phenom who took the sports world by storm with a 70 mph fastball, will release a memoir in March titled Mo'ne Davis: Remember My Name. As the first girl to ever pitch a shut out in Little League World Series history, she's become an emblem of boundary breaking and a sports media favorite.

In the wake of her World Series play, the pitcher appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated, in a Chevrolet commercial, and on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. In publishing the book, the teen aims to encourage people to take chances and play the sports they love, not just the ones people expect them to play.
