The Women Behind Rodarte Go Hollywood

Fashion designers and founders of the Rodarte label, Kate and Laura Mulleavy, are going from runway to red carpet, announcing their latest partnership: filmmaking.

Kirsten Dunst is set to star in their directorial debut, "Woodstock." Dunst has been a long-time muse for the fashion designers.

In-depth details of the plot are being kept under wraps, but the Mulleavy sisters have been working on this original screenplay for several years, reports The Hollywood Reporter. The sisters have also shared their love for horror films with The New Yorker, which could possibly play a part in their future film.

The two sisters have made many notable accomplishments in the fashion industry and we're willing to bet they'll make great strides in filmmaking  an industry that needs more creative female voices.
