This Target Halloween Ad Went Viral for an Amazing Reason

Target's weekly ad featuring a little girl with disabilities dressed as Princess Elsa from "Frozen" went viral.

The ad features young girls modeling various Halloween costumes, and alongside them is a young girl with leg braces and arm crutches modeling Disney's Elsa.

The ad gained attention after Jen Spickenagel Kroll, whose daughter has a disability, posted it on Facebook.

Dear Target, I love you. Thank you for including a child with braces and arm crutches into your advertising campaign!...

Mashable reports that Target responded to supporters saying its advertising team "tries hard to include all of our guests."

Jezebel reports that earlier this year Target decided to change gender-neutral labeling for their toy section and in 2012 featured a child with Down syndrome in a weekly ad.
