In the midst of everything going on recently with police brutality and terrorist attacks, pausing to acknowledge International Day of Peace might not be a bad idea.
Each year on September 21, the United Nations and people around the world celebrate world peace. This day is dedicated specifically to the absence of war and violence and provides an opportunity for all of humanity to come together for good reason.
