Ad Executive Is Using #WomenNotObjects Campaign to Fight Sexist Ads

Madonna Badger is an ad executive on a mission to convince ad agencies to stop running ads and communications that objectify women.

A viral video titled, "We are #WomenNotObjects," is the first step in her campaign which she has dedicated to her three daughters who died in a tragic house fire in 2011.

Badger gained fame with her previous work creating Calvin Klein ads with Kate Moss and Mark Wahlberg in the 1990s, but she admitted during the course of her career she might have been part of the problem. 

Her ad agency houses clients like Vera Wang and our MAKER Diane von Furstenberg who have pledged not to create ads where women are objectified, and not to airbrush women "to the point of perfection."
