The Year in Pantsuits: From Hillary Clinton to Beyoncé

This year will go down in the history books as many things, most of which the world could stand to go a few decades (or centuries) without repeating. But if 2016 brought us anything decent, it was the influx of power pantsuits on women.

Hillary Clinton's trademark uniform was seen on everyone from Beyoncé to Meryl Streep, and, of course, Hillary Clinton. A Facebook group of Clinton supporters even created an invite-only group to share their thoughts, feelings, and ideas on the election and fittingly named it "Pantsuit Nation," which will soon inspire a book in the same vein. In honor of the Year of the Pantsuit, take a look back at some of the best in the gallery above.
