Carla has spent the majority of her career as a Marketer at Unilever. Working in both Canada and the US as a Brand Builder, Brand Developer and Shopper Marketer, her first transformative role was launching Dove Campaign for Real Beauty in Canada. There she developed and produced the branded documentary, Beauty Quest, a key element in Dove winning the “Best of Show” and “Gold” awards in the 2005 Media Innovation Awards.
In her current role as Shopper Marketing Director, Supermarkets, she manages Unilever’s biggest and most complex business overseeing a team of 15 people who bring Unilever’s brands to life with its retail partners.
Carla shares Unilever’s credo that our talent agenda will drive our growth agenda. On a daily basis she advocates for and champions the members of her team, putting their development needs first and, in doing so, she has become an invaluable leader to both her team and the company.
Carla lives in Los Angeles with her TV producer husband and their daughter Matisse.
