Growing up on the island of Jamaica, Allison Cole's focus was always the pursuit of excellence. Her father, a self-made entrepreneur, challenged her to always be the best, seize opportunities and pursue education as a path to create her future.
Allison is currently Region President, New England at Verizon Communications, a leading broadband and entertainment company. In her role Allison leads almost 4000 employees to deliver outstanding customer service to Verizon's wireline customers in Massachusetts and Rhode Island; brings to market industry leading products and services that enable customers to live better lives; builds strong teams and delivers over $1.7B in revenue annually.
Allison's professional career is a testament to her flexibility, willingness to learn new things and accept tough assignments. Her prior roles at Verizon included deploying the state of the art FiOSTM platform, engineering and validating the company's first Long Distance network, providing operational support for various large enterprise and Federal customers.
The first in her family to complete college she took her father's message to heart. Allison holds a BS in Computer Engineering, an MS in Telecommunications & Computers both from The George Washington University, as well as, an MBA from Georgetown University.
In the spirit of paying it forward, Allison and her husband operate a non-profit in the Virgin Islands focused on youth athletic and educational development.
Her other passions include traveling the world with her family. She lives in the Boston Metro area with her husband and two children.
