Claudia Chan is the founder of ClaudiaChan.com, a for-purpose media brand that brings women’s empowering stories to one place. ClaudiaChan.com was launched in March 2012, 12 years after Chan began her professional journey. Chan previously spent 9 years as the president of Shecky’s, hosting its popular “Girls Night Out” event series. Chan also organized S.H.E. Summit Week, a week full of events designed to inspire women, which Chan intends to extend nationally in 2013.

Chan, a graduate of Smith University, founded her first networking business, iLounge, at the age of 23. Since then, she has been featured on The Today Show, Fox and CBS as well as in the pages of Entrepreneur Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and more. And when she isn’t busy with her own business, Chan also serves on the board of NEST, a non-profit that helps women in poverty get back on their feet.
