Robin Binkley is a Financial Institution leader within the Visa North America Account Management team. She has built and leads a group of Account Executives who manage the payments portfolios of top-30 Visa clients. With 25+ years in Fortune 500 and start-up companies, Robin’s expertise covers a wide range of financial services including payment cards, banking, insurance and investment services. She has been at Visa for 14 years and has enjoyed success managing a diverse client base. Over her tenure, Robin transformed Visa’s relationship with Citi paving the way for the Costco and Best Buy co-brands and reinvigorating the relationship with Barclaycard — growing the business from $1B to $10B+ by winning 18 new co-brand programs in four years. While a member of the Consumer Credit Management team, Robin was instrumental in driving Visa’s strategy to re-calibrate the North America Consumer Credit Platform. Robin earned her MBA with honors from The Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s of Science from Towson University.

Michele Janes is a Vice President in the Merchant Sales and Solutions group. In this role, Michele is responsible for building and growing relationships with Visa’s top merchant partners. Since joining Visa in 2003, she has held leadership roles in Visa’s Digital Solutions and Mobile Products teams where she was responsible for launching and managing digital programs such as Visa Check and Visa’s Token Service. Prior to Visa, Janes worked in the investment banking division at Merrill Lynch & Co. She holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University.

Deputy General Counsel and Chief Counsel, North America, Risk and Merchant Solutions

Julie Rottenberg is the Deputy General Counsel and Chief Counsel, North America, Risk and Merchant Solutions at Visa Inc. She serves as Visa’s lead lawyer in North America and manages the legal support for issuing, acquiring, and merchant client partners. Julie also directs legal support for Risk, including Visa’s response to breach events and overall brand protection. As Deputy General Counsel, she manages the overall operations of the Legal and Compliance function. Previously, she managed Visa’s U.S. litigation portfolio and certain global litigation and regulatory issues. Before joining Visa in 2008, she was a partner at Arnold & Porter, LLP managing civil litigation, including complex class action, product liability and antitrust matters. Julie served as a judicial clerk to Judge Samuel Wilson, United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia and Judge Robert Beezer, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She holds a J.D., with highest honors, from George Washington University, and a B.A., cum laude, from San Diego State University.

Karen Strong is the SVP of the Client Support & Implementation organization at Visa Inc, responsible for client facing operational support, project management and client readiness for all VisaNet products and services. Since joining Visa in 1990, Karen has focused on delivering value add operational support to clients around the world both in market and regional offices. Karen also spent time in Singapore developing the global model for client support in AP & CEMEA. Karen received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA.
