Lydia Cincore-Templeton is the President and CEO of Children Youth and Family Collaborative, an academic and social development organization serving over 4,000 foster and at-risk youth at 25 sites in Los Angeles and Compton. She has been involved in community service for over 26 years and has received numerous honors, including being named the California State Legislature Woman of the Year in March 2005.
Lydia is a member of United Methodist Women, Top Ladies of Distinction, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, the Bishops' Task Force on Children and Poverty, and the Los Angeles District Multiculturalism Team. She holds a degree from Loyola University of the South and a Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law. In 1996, Lydia was assigned to Goma, Zaire where she served as the Country Manager and coordinated the United Methodist humanitarian response to the Hutu-Tutsi Conflict in Rwanda.
