When former Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts first arrived at her new job, she was shocked to see that everybody worked on Saturdays. So she decided to make a change and added a couple more perks along the way.

Angela's Biography

Middle Child:"I learned to be the spectator and I learned to listen and observe and watch.
Small Town Fashion:"Picture farm town, heart of the Midwest…I used to escape by buying fashion magazines."
Art of the Aesthetic:"I love beautiful pleasing things to the eye…whether it was making my doll clothes…my bedding…decorative pillows."
iPad or Notepad:iPad

Angela Ahrendts is a businesswoman who is currently Apple's senior vice president of retail and online stores. Prior to her joining Apple, Ahrendts served as CEO of Burberry, leading the company through a period of outstanding global growth.

A Midwesterner, Ahrendts grew up in Indiana where she met her high school sweetheart and now husband and attended college. Although she intended to major in fashion design at Ball State University, Ahrendts realized her strengths lied in marketing and merchandising, and her career followed suit eventually leading her to serve as president of Donna Karan International and executive vice president at Liz Claiborne Inc. In October 2013, Ahrendts announced she would be departing from Burberry to take on a new adventure at Apple. She took her new post in April 2014.
