At the young age of 15, Shelby Knox was organizing her community to fight for sex education in her conservative town of Lubbock, Texas.  Shelby continues to travel across the United States as an itinerant feminist organizer. She is currently living in New York City and serves as the Director of Organizing for Women’s Rights at Change.org, which empowers members to create change in their community by starting online campaigns to petition for issues they value.
