Caitlyn Jenner talks about her children's reaction to the media's coverage of her transition.

Caitlyn's Biography

Caitlyn Jenner captured the world's attention when she revealed that she is a transgender woman in April 2015. She first told her story during an ABC News "20/20" exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer. The primetime special drew 17 million total viewers — the highest for the show in 15 years.

In June 2015, Caitlyn revealed her new name and look on the cover of Vanity Fair. She instantly trended on social media, gaining one million Twitter followers in just four hours — setting a new Guinness world record.

The awards continued. She received the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the 2015 ESPYs, a Teen Choice Award for Social Media Queen and was chosen as Barbara Walters' Most Fascinating Person of the Year, TIME magazine's runner-up for the 2015 Person of the Year, Out Magazine's 2015 Newsmaker of the Year, and one of the 25 Glamour Women of the Year.

Jenner won a gold medal in the decathlon in the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, earning the title of "World's Greatest Athlete." After this incredible accomplishment, Caitlyn was involved in many projects, spanning sports, business, publishing, film, and television.

Jenner is the executive producer of the "I Am Cait" docuseries on E!, which documents her post-transition life. The second season premiered in March 2016.

Off screen, Caitlyn enjoys flying planes, racing cars in Grand Prix events, golfing and spending time with her children.
