Jacki's Biography

Born and raised in British Columbia, Jacki Zehner became the youngest woman and first female trader to be invited into the partnership of Goldman Sachs in 1996. But she didn't begin her journey in the finance industry.

At the age of 16, Zehner competed nationally in bodybuilding. She won the Canadian Junior Bodybuilding Championships two years in a row. Not knowing what was next, Zehner graduated college and was recruited to be a trader on Wall Street by the top investment bank, Goldman Sachs. Most of her career was spent at Goldman, where she worked in mortgage-backed trading. She later spent two years in the Executive Office working in human capital management. In 2002, Zehner left Goldman Sachs and became a founding partner of Circle Financial Group — a private wealth management organization consisting of a small number of women committed to managing their families' assets and philanthropic undertakings.

Zehner currently lives in Utah and serves as Chief Engagement Officer of Women Moving Millions. She still serves as an advisor for many for-profit and non-profit gender equality organizations.
