Danica Patrick Announces New Sponsorship With Nature's Bakery

Stewart Haas Racing announced on Tuesday that they signed champion racecar driver Danica Patrick to a multi-year contract extension.

Under the deal, Nature's Bakery will be Patrick's primary sponsorship for 28 races a year.

Nature's Bakery replaces Patrick's longtime sponsorship with GoDaddy.

"Our brands align so perfectly, it is kind of amazing," said Patrick, who often tweets photos of her healthy eating habits, according to ESPN. "This journey is going to be really fun ... Being able to re-sign with Tony Stewart and here at Stewart-Haas is very important to me. I really, really do feel like family here and feel like there is nowhere else I want to be."

"All you need to say is 'Danica' and people know exactly who you're talking about," said Nature’s Bakery founder Dave Marson, according to Yahoo. "She has immersed herself and succeeded in a very intense sport and been recognized for her efforts."

Patrick is the most successful woman in the history of American open-wheel racing. She is the only woman to ever win in the IndyCar series as well as holding the highest finish by a woman (3rd place) at the Indianapolis 500.
