Girls Gone Global: The Women's March Will Be a Worldwide Event

Since last year, plans for a Women's March on Washington on January 21 have been made, and momentum for the event has continued to build.

With satellite march locations popping up across the United States for those who cannot make it to Washington, D.C., the event will likely be "the largest mass mobilization that any new administration has seen on its first day."

But Americans will not be the only ones marching for women's rights. In fact, women are rallying behind #WhyIMarch from all over the world.

There are 616 sister marches and counting that have been organized around the world with 1,364,010 plus registered marchers. Visit the Women's March site to watch the map LIVE as sister marches continue to pop up.
