GrubHub's Diverse Executive Team Gives Us a Taste of Gender Equality

If you were not already obsessed, GrubHub may actually become your favorite food ordering service out there for more reasons than one.

And aside from everything the app and website offer, the company is now officially giving us a taste of gender equality.

By gender equality, we mean there is actually (not just almost) a balance on GrubHub's executive team, with four men and four women in the highest positions.

Making up the female half of the team are CMO Barbara Martin Coppola, general counsel Margo Drucker, head of HR Kelley Berlin, and the latest addition, CTO Maria Belousova.

"When I'm looking for people to fill roles, I think: I need a CMO — that person needs to have XYZ. I craft the ideal model. I look for people that are extremely intelligent, creative problem solvers, tinkerers," CEO Matt Maloney told Fortune of his hiring practices, adding "We're trying to solve new problems, so we need new perspectives."
