Jessica Williams Addresses McKinney Incident On "The Daily Show"

"The Daily Show" correspondent and newly launched MAKER Jessica Williams helped Jon Stewart address an incident in McKinney, Texas, that made national news Monday. During a pool party over the weekend, a police officer was videotaped slamming a black teenage girl to the ground, and seen aiming his gun at other unarmed teens.

In Monday's sketch of the news story, Williams was seen "reporting live" from McKinney, while fully suited in body armor with a bright pink bikini over it.

"This week's incident has taught black people here something valuable," she said. "When you go to a pool party, even in your own neighborhood that you live in, you have to know pool etiquette, which is no running, no splashing, no talking back, and, if at all possible, get your ass even further to the ground than it already is."

"But either way, this incident is progress. It's progress because a cop pulled a gun on a group of black kids, and nobody is dead," Williams added.
