Lena Dunham Is Launching a Podcast — Surprise, Surprise

First we saw Lena Dunham on screen. Then we saw her on paper in the form of magazine essays and her Lenny newsletter (if you haven’t signed up, you probably should now. She features some seriously amazing women).

And now we get to hear her. Dunham is launching a podcast, hosted by Buzzfeed, and it seems like a pretty natural next step for her to take.

Called "Women of the Hour," the first clips of the show feature Dunham interviewing women like Janet Mock, Emma Stone, Zadie Smith, and more. Dunham said on Twitter, "In honor of the 'Not That Kind of Girl' paperback release, I decided to explore the themes of my book further, talking to an array of women I love and admire in order to bring you an audio collage/feminist variety hour in the form of this podcast: Women of the Hour." She continued, "Please subscribe if you like bad-asses, deep questions, giggling, sexual healing, Gaia life force, style, summer-camp, cute kids, the Internet and feminine power."

That pretty much sums up everything we love in less than 15 words. You can get a preview now on iTunes, and the episodes will officially begin on November 5.
