By Meredith Lepore

We recently wrote about how millennials are thriftier than most generations (except when it comes to getting caffeinated) and now it turns out they also good at investing. Especially if they are a woman with an entrepreneurial spirit.

The U.S. Trust annual Insights on Wealth and Worth Survey found that millennial women are 3.4 times more likely to be entrepreneurs than women from other generations. They’re also more likely to be the primary or an equal income earner in their relationships than previous generations plus one-third of millennial women and 38 percent of Gen X women are the dominate investment decision-maker in their households.

And they are good at investing as they're 5.6 times more likely to have achieved significant gains by taking investment risks.
