Notable Women React to Hillary Clinton's Presidential Candidacy
On April 12, after years of speculation, Hillary Clinton officially announced her candidacy for U.S. President. Thus far, she's the only woman in the race, with Republican Senators Ted Cruz and Rand Paul as her only announced contendors.
"Everyday Americans need a champion," Clinton said in the video announcing her campaign. "And I want to be that champion."
Millions of Americans had already declared they were Ready for Hillary before the former Secretary of State gave the official word.
