Oprah Just Announced the Project We've All Been Waiting For

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oprah Winfrey just signed a book deal with Flatiron Books for her forthcoming memoir, "The Life You Want," set to be published in January 2017.

The iconic media mogul and philanthropist released a statement expressing her hope for her story to "inspire other people to live the fullest expression of themselves," and that "anyone can put their life on a new trajectory."

She also shared that the book will include several never-before-told stories — "even the painful ones."

The book deal also includes Winfrey's own publishing imprint at Macmillan, which will include a number of fiction and nonfiction works released each year.

President and publisher of Flatiron Books, Bob Miller, talked about the memoir, calling it "a remarkable combination of Oprah's life story," and added that it will feature "lessons we can all draw from" for personal growth.

This will be Winfrey's second published book.

Her first book, "What I Know for Sure," was published in 2014 and became an instant New York Times bestseller.
