Planned Parenthood's Executive Vice President Talks About Boehner, Mansplaining, Fiorina, and More

Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards testified before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Tuesday in a hearing that lasted over five hours.

Dawn Laguens, Executive Vice President of Planned Parenthood, spoke with Huff Post Live to discuss what she thought about the hearing.

"First of all, I thought that Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood, did an incredible job bringing the voices of the 2.7 millions women and men and young people that Planned Parenthood sees into the room," Laguens said.

"What we saw from the members of Congress, particularly the Republican members, was frankly lots of mansplaining and a dyer lack of understanding from of women's health and the very programs they're suppose to oversee."

The Executive Vice President weighed in on whether she thought that the GOP members were speaking on behalf of the taxpayer's interest or the moral view of how they view abortion.

She also spoke about John Boehner and how his resignation will affect the Planned Parenthood debate.

Laguens also discussed Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, who recently spoke out about Planned Parenthood at the GOP debate.

"She is lying about footage of Planned Parenthood, she knows it and she doesn't have a way out," Laguens said.
