Day 5, Rachel Kyte: MAKERS Celebrates 20 Women of the 1995 UN Conference on Women

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 1995 UN Conference on Women in Beijing, we're featuring 20 incredible women on MAKERS who particpiated in the largest ever international gathering of women.

Rachel Kyte has been the World Bank Group Vice-President and Special Envoy for Climate Change since 2014, where she has been a prominent champion for green growth around the globe. Kyte was a youth organizer for environmental conferences in Europe in the early 90s, when Bella Abzug recruited her to turn her talents towards organizing women globally.  As a policy advisor for the International Women's Health Coalition, Kyte was vital voice in the fight for sexual and reproductive rights for women at the Fourth World Conference in Beijing.
