This Could Be The Biggest Fight in UFC History

#TeamRousey fans may just have received the best news ever.

Former UFC undefeated champion Ronda Rousey may be in recovery mode, but she is now scheduled to appear in what could be the make-or-break fight of her entire career.

After a televised defeat against Australian Holly Holm in which Rousey lost to Holm with a dramatic kick to the head, UFC president Dana White announced the probability of a rematch between the two fierce competitors.

As reported by the Los Angeles Times, White is planning on a rematch on July 9 with the hopes that the event brings in as many views as the first one.

The fight "broke every record we've ever had, from the venue, to merchandise, to commercial pay-per-view, everything," White said at a press conference days following the fight.

The fight was a huge win for everyone, even the bruised Rousey who reportedly earned more than $5 million

What Holm didn't win in earnings, she received in payment of brand recognition and power; she was the top trending topic on social media the morning after the fight.

While neither Rousey or Holm have personally responded to the recent news of a rematch, Rousey told ESPN, "I need to come back. I need to beat this chick,” and
that if she were to lose again to Holm, "I'll be done with everything."
