Serena Williams Gears Up for the U.S. Open

By Madeline Buxton

Serena Williams isn't one for ordinary, traditional tennis whitesSo when she hits the court we don't just expect her to bring it with her backhand — we have high expectations in the style department, too. Yesterday, she gave us one more reason to tune into the U.S. Open August 31 when she stepped out at Nike's NYC Street Tennis event in the brand's black and pink pairing.

The ensemble included a snakeskin print Nikecourt Premier Tennis Dress ($80) and modern Nikecourt Flare Sneakers ($200). We may still need some time to master her backhand, we can look the part wearing her on-court style right now.
