Single Mom Does This Awesome Thing to Help Her Son Attend 'Donuts with Dad'

A single mom went above and beyond so her son wouldn't feel left out at his school's event, 'Donuts with Dad.'

As Yevette Vasquez was dropping her son Elijah off at school, she noticed there were more cars in the school parking lot than usual.

Vasquez asked her son what was going on and Elijah told his mother there was a Donuts with Dad event taking place that day.

She immediately turned the car around and headed home to come up with a surprise solution.

Vasquez has since received an outpouring of support and praise from users across social media for her "dad disguise."

“Most of the dads thought it was really cool," she said. "They thought it was really supportive and sweet. I did feel the energy of a few men who weren't as comfortable with it though."

Vasquez expressed to CNN that her only regret is that she didn't do it sooner.
