Team USA Gymnast Laurie Hernandez Has Stolen Our Hearts

We're still celebrating the Team USA gymnasts for bringing home the gold in the all-around competition last night. And though we're in awe of all members of the Final Five, as they've dubbed themselves, we seriously can't get enough of 16-year-old Laurie Hernandez. Not only is she the queen of cute pre-competition pump-ups, but she's also providing us with our daily dose of inspiration. Hernandez's fighting spirit first caught our attention when, prior to her beam routine, she whispered to herself, "I got this" — confirming that she is, in fact, all of us.

Spoiler: Laurie gets it. Then, as she prepared for the floor event, she flashed a wink to end all winks at the judges.

OK, let's be honest. Her entire floor routine screamed sass in the best possible way.

If you're thinking, Could this girl be more charming? — the answer is yes. During the competition, she also blessed us with a slew of excited expressions that gave us life.

And finally, Laurie sent a too-adorable-for-words selfie with her newly awarded gold medal to her brother, who promptly posted it on Instagram.

The selfie I get from my sis right after she competed even though I haven't even watched it yet on NBC. But anyways I am so proud of who you are and what you've accomplished. We were talking about this being a possibility a decade ago and to see it actually happen is too much for me to handle. It's blowing my mind how the same little girl I used to see doing flips on my bed at age 6 now has a gold medal. I have seen you deal with so much adversity with the sport over the last several years and to finally see your hard work culminate makes it all worth it. You're the toughest little 16 year old I've ever met and I'm not saying that just cause I'm a proud bro. Remember to give God his glory always! Love you sis and can't wait to see you kill it Monday as well. As soon as you land we're going straight to Wawa

No, you're crying! So even though she's an actual gold medalist now, we're giving Laurie our own personal gold for lighting up our day.
